Data Science Trends in USA
Internal Auditors are making a long way, and many innovative trends are emerging related to internal audit. Many industries are adopting these trends across the world to enhance their organizational impact and influence. Let’s watch a few trends of internal audits that are going to impact the business in a positive way. The Agile method is the latest innovation. Many audit teams are positively adapting agile methods as they are delivering results that include better, faster, and happier. By experiencing Agile methodology, internal auditors are reluctant to revert to traditional methods. The other trend is the Cyber internal audits. Internal audits are expected to govern all the departments of the organization and predict the chances of Cyber risks. Prepare tools and take measures to address the specific risks.
This might include data protection, cloud security, identity and access management, and risk monitoring. The latest trend is the embracement of Robotic Process Automation and cognitive tools towards internal audits. This technology helps to drive efficiently, boost quality, and deliver better results. The other internal audit groups have adapted Artificial intelligence and Machine Learning technologies which have improved their efficiency throughout the audit life cycle. Automating assurance is the next emerging trend in internal audit. Top internal audit groups are automating most of the core assurance to a larger extent, This automation leads to lower risks and helps the auditors to focus on the specific areas where much attention is needed. As many organizations are adopting disruptive technologies like RPA and Cognitive Intelligence, mainly in sectors related to Finance. Internal audit must understand and be able to advise the management of the probability of risks raised by these technologies by using data analytics and risk sensing tools and address them with proper strategies.

FAQs for Internal Auditors Program
This course just assumes some basic computer familiarity and analytical mindset. It definitely helps if the learner has some background in Auditing and Financial Reporting, SQL and Programming languages such as Python and R.
This course is specifically catered to learners intending to either begin or advance their careers in the auditing and financial reporting industry. As such, you will be exposed to highly relevant financial data.
You will be exposed to financial statements, general ledger and sub-ledger data and many more datasets that are unique to the financial reporting and auditing industry.
Ideally, for the purposes of this course, we have already procured and hosted the necessary datasets (samples), but if some learners are interested in how all of the Data Engineering work is done, it can be offered as a separate (or an addendum) course.
Different organizations use different terms for data professionals. You will sometimes find these terms being used interchangeably. Though there are no hard rules that distinguish one from another, you should get the role descriptions clarified before you join an organization.
With growing demand, there is a scarcity of data science professionals in the market. If you can demonstrate strong knowledge of data science concepts and algorithms, then there is a high chance for you to be able to make a career in this profession.
360DigiTMG provides internship opportunities through Innodatatics, our USA- based consulting partner, for deserving participants to help them gain real-life experience. This greatly helps students to bridge the gap between theory and practical.
