Now the data in the chain is tied to the nonce and hash, making it impossible to tamper with the data because there are roughly four billion possible nonce-hash combinations one has to try to hack into a chain. Now, miners create new blocks on the chain every block has its unique nonce and hash but also includes a reference of the hash from the previous block in the chain making it extremely difficult to manipulate data, especially on large chains. Nodes are a critical component of a blockchain’s infrastructure that maintains copies of the blockchain and keeps the network functioning. a blockchain’s data would not be accessible without nodes.
