    Conviction compares the probability that Antecedent appears without Consequent provided they are dependent on the frequency of the appearance of Antecedent without Consequent. Conviction factors in both P(A) and P(C) and has a value of 1 when the pair of items are unrelated

    Leverage measures the degree of dependence between the Antecedent and the consequent. This is done by finding the difference between the Support of the Tupple and the product of the support of the Antecednet and Cosneqiuesnt measured independently

    Leverage = {#(A&C)/#T} – {(#A/#T)*(#C/#T)}

    (or)
    Leverage = p(A&C) – p(A).p(C)

    Higher the value of leverage is the dependence between the Antecedent and Consequent
