The Human Resources Development Fund, or HRDF for short, is a statutory organisation in Malaysia that falls under the purview of the Ministry of Human Resources and whose office is located in Kuala Lumpur, the country's capital. The organization's only goal is to urge companies to give their employees plenty of learning opportunities and room for personal development so that workplace productivity is always at its highest.

Registering On The Domain

The HRDF portal offers you two methods to register yourself, depending on whether you are a service provider or a service seeker. You may register as a user in either of the following categories-

  • As a training provider
  • As an employer

Registering As A Training Provider

You only need to complete a form that, to be honest, is a little tiresome if you believe you have the knowledge and credentials to approach a business and persuade the bosses of the HRDF's objectives. However, if you contrast that with the process for signing up as an employer on the portal, you'll feel fortunate. Be at ease, though. Together, we'll work through this procedure and establish the HRDF registration process.

Registering As An Employer

This procedure is more difficult than becoming a trainer since it requires you to complete two forms that are appropriately substantial. But don't worry, we'll overcome this together too, just like before. The following form must be completed with the aforementioned credentials entered in the appropriate fields.

FORM 1 – Registration Of Employer

FORM 1A – Employer Information

Form 1A and Form 1 are fairly similar, with the exception of Form 1A having fewer fields and information to fill out. The Business Profile category, where you must provide more information, is where the distinction lies. Since the extra fields could have easily been included in Form 1 alone, we're not even clear why Form 1A exists.

Some Guidelines

There are many rules on the HRDF portal, but the claim guidelines are a crucial section since, as the name implies, it concerns claims, which are simply financial transactions, which are inherently delicate matters.

Follow the Given Steps for Properly Filling Out a Claim Application-

  • Login to the portal and launch eTRIS.
  • Click on the application icon and click the claim.
  • Choose submit ‘claims with grants’.
  • Fill the form with the required documentation and submit it.
